Bongchull Shin

Lives and works in Munich, Germany
Bongchull Shin (b.1981) is an artist who uses light and glass as his medium of choice to explore his artistic vision. Shin graduated from the Korea National University of Arts and later completed his degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. Currently, he resides in Germany and works around the world. 
 

His major selected solo exhibitions include 《High Touch》(SEOJUNG ART, Busan, Korea, 2023) 《Memory Reflection》(Palazzo Tagliaferro, Andora, 2022), and 《Map of Light》(Sotheby‘s, Munich, 2019). Major selected group exhibitions are 《DEAR CABINET》(SEOJUNG ART, Seoul, Korea, 2023), 《Scenery of Emptiness and Asia》(Asia Culture Center, Kwangju, 2022), 《Bright new world》(Cheongju Museum of Art, Cheongju, 2021). His works are housed in various collections, including the Munich International Airport and the Alexander Tutsek Foundation.
